enrichment lessons in elementary education.
AIM
This policy document contains responsibilities of all persons specifically named as teachers/tutors, students, parent/guardian, or responsible adults
This policy should be read and understood before engaging in any learning activities arranged and agreed upon by parent/guardian or responsible adults, and students.
Any person acting in violation of this policy could result in personnel or student suspension and/or expulsion from participating in the services provided by DRB EXPERT TUTORS.
RECORDING OF LESSONS
Lessons will not be recorded by parent/guardian or responsible adults, and participating staff such as moderators, panelists, participants, or students.
Zoom and Google Meet automatically record sessions with teachers/tutors and students participating in all classes provided by DRB EXPERT TUTORS.
DRB EXPERT TUTORS reserves the right to keep an edited copy of recorded audio/video or webinars and courses, editing out names of students, email address, residential address, telephone numbers, date of birth, race, or nationality.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ROLES and RESPONSIBLILITIES of PERSONS PARTICIPATING in ONLINE TEACHING and LEARNING
THE TEACHER/TUTOR SHALL
Not display any inappropriate images or documents that will be viewed by the students, parent/guardian, or responsible adults when conducting a session.
Use appropriate and respectful language, and do not display offensive or discriminatory gestures.
Not send unsolicited communications to the student, parent/guardian, or responsible adults.
Encourage students to participate in the learning process and praise their contribution with worthy expressions.
Report any in appropriate behavior and disruptive manner by the student or third-party during class session.
Ensure that parent/guardian or responsible adult is present during a class session. If the student is not comfortable during the class session, the parent/guardian or responsible adult can terminate the lesson. Ensure that the environment is conducive to learning, free of distractive background noise or third-party conversations.
THE STUDENT SHALL
Only students who are currently enrolled in the online courses offered by DRB EXPERT TUTORS are permitted to participate in the class sessions.
Not display any inappropriate images or documents that will be views by other students, parent/guardian, or responsible adult that will distract learning process during a session.
Not have abusive behavior, language, or gestures, and will treat the teacher/tutor with respect and fairness
Have no inappropriate communication with the teacher/tutor outside the class session.
Report any dispute with a teacher/tutor to a parent/guardian or responsible adult.
Report any inappropriate behavior by a teacher/tutor within a class session.
Ensure that the environment is conducive to learning, free of distractive background images, noise, or third-party conversations.
THE PARENT/GUARDIAN OR RESPONSIBLE ADULTS SHALL
Ensure that no display of any inappropriate images or documents that will distract the learning process during a session will be viewed by other students, parent/guardian, or responsible adults.
Ensure that the student is fully aware of the DRB EXPERT TUTORS Policy and Procedures.
Always be responsible for the safety and welfare of the student during the class session.
Ensure that teachers/tutors will be treated with respect and fairness by the student, and they will not be subjected to abusive behavior or language.
Ensure that the student has no inappropriate communication with the teacher/tutors outside the class session.
THE MANAGEMENT SERVICE SHALL
Ensure that any dispute between persons using the DRB EPERT TUTORS services is handled efficiently and fairly without discrimination in accordance with procedures set out in this document.
